Siffblog: Interview with Keith Fulton and review of Army
of Shadows (Jean-Pierre Melville and Lino Ventura take on
the French Resistance). One of my favorite films of the year.





Endnote: Much of the We Go Way Back soundtrack comes from
Carbon Glacier and Year of Meteors. Two early Veirs' recordings,
Troubled by the Fire and The Triumphs & Travails of Orphan Mae,
have just been re-released. She also appears on the Decemberists'
